Review on Dorman 741-637 Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly for Front Driver Side in Black, Compatible with Select Buick / Oldsmobile Models by Reed Nuttbrock

I eventually broke down and bought this hoping it wouldn't be too difficult to replace as my workflow would be easier if I had a working driver's window. (I'm in the security industry and a working driver's window would have made things a lot easier.) Initially there was a delivery delay that made it a week late, which sucked but wasn't the end of the world. When it finally arrived on Thursday, a week late, I had to wait after work on Friday to install it. Installation was much easier than expected. The hardest part was finding the right bits for the screws. (I have a cheap tool set, so they tend to scatter because I don't tend to them.) All you need is a torx bit set and socket set to easily replace that. I personally used a drill to speed up the process. (Might need a Phillips head but who doesn't) Time will tell how well it holds up. But for now I'm only happy with the working window. The passenger side will also be repaired soon. This one also broke not too long ago.
