I don't use this for pancakes and such but I've definitely seen it would be perfect for that but I do use it for pouring balm! Pouring balm into jars can make a mess. Now I can line up all the jars, fill the container, and it becomes so quick and easy. Although the mixture is very hot, it does ooze out a little after I've done a couple of refills, but I just hold it over the glass while filling the reservoir. It's holding up really well so far and I've used it for more than 10 gallons of hot herbal oil and wax mixes.
