So, this is an overview of the latest pack of T6-6 Up here RGB fans. I knew these were budget fans when I bought them, so I had low expectations. Pros: 1. They move quite a lot of air and are excellent case fans.2. You are calm enough. The little noise they make is like a low frequency hum.3. The lighting is strong and even. No seriously bad bright or dead zones.4. The overall package is self-sufficient. That means it has everything you need for all six fans, like screws, velcro, etc.5. All of this is controlled by a radio remote control. Yes, the remote has an IR diode on the front, but it's also RF and works well. Cons: 1. The fans use a proprietary controller (included) and will not work with any known system, be it Aura, Fusion, Mystic or plain old addressable RGB. So you CANNOT run them from your mobo, point 2. They are not speed regulated and there are no speed stats, youngster. feet per minute and static pressure. There are buttons on the remote to adjust the speed, but they don't work on T6 fans. It is universal for their other fan models.3. There is no way to get telemetry from these fans or the controller. In other words, you cannot connect to your mobo to get information about its performance. There are no controller firmware updates to expand functionality in the future. Now the lack of speed control makes these fans a poor choice for heatsinks. They just don't pump enough air to do it. But they are good than ordinary fans. You have hundreds of light patterns and combinations. Inflate/Extract enough air to provide fresh air for your CPU cooler to do its job. The lighting can be turned on or off with the remote control, and that's pretty real. The build quality looks and feels very good. They don't look like cheap plastic and the motor has virtually no play. This is very rare for fans with such bearing housings. The value you get for their price is great unless you're trying to use them as cooler fans. No heaters or radiators. Also, if you're using a glass display case, make sure it has enough vents for it to function optimally. ***EDIT*** This review was for the 120 IR T6-6 version of these fans. There are several other versions that offer different features and options. If Revain is not among the 120 IR T6-6, one of the other models will default to it. It may also seem like some people are getting different versions than the ones they ordered. Most of the time people order the dubbed version and get the base IR instead. Please check your version before you start building as you may need to replace it. Simply put, if it's powered by a big old-fashioned 4-pin Molex connector, you CANNOT sync it to anything. You also cannot change the fan speed. The IR T6-6 base unit offers very good value for money and looks good. Incidentally, these fans generate sufficient heat when the LEDs are running. After several weeks and several tests, I saw an average drop of 5 cents when they were off. I've seen better and worse. They seem a little inferior to the others, but again they offer good value for money.
