But you look cool.

Make sure you spill your drink. A conical vessel is very prone to spills due to the way liquids flow in it. A standard stemmed martini glass feels unsafe in your hand, requiring careful handling when drinking to avoid spills. They appear to be more stable but still have the problem of a conical vessel. By tilting the glass to swallow, the contents flow from the narrow tip up over the much wider sides at a much higher flow rate than expected, and when it returns to the upright position, the liquid enters the small cone, causing splashing. Because they're more stable in the hand, you're more likely to try to drink from them like a Rocks glass. This way you carry some of the drink. You have to be very careful with them and always drink from them with every sip, as if from a glass full to the brim. A straw helps to prevent this, but straws in this form are not stable and spoil the cool look.

  • Martini Glasses
Cons
  • Big and chunky
