I think leaving the metal blade in place and only moving the plastic blade is a very safe solution. I tested it on my hand before using it on children and it seems to me that it is almost impossible to hurt yourself with this blade. Changing heads is very easy and the charge lasts a long time. The charging process took several hours, which is not a problem for me because the charge lasts a long time and I can charge all night. The charging indicator always works reliably and helps me to never run out of energy. A very complete set for the price. Love it.
