I had my doubts when I bought this item. I was pleasantly surprised by the real turquoise color. I didn't want a fleet. It has a soft, velvety material, vibrant color, and faux hand stitching, which I think makes the blanket truly unique. I want this to be a bedspread as I plan to use it with another quilt. By the way, the price should reflect that this is not real velvet. Other than that, I'm happy with my purchase.
