I have sciatica due to worn discs in my lower spine. Since using the wedge pillow I have finally had pain relief without visiting my chiropractor. At first I was afraid it would get too hot. However, I found it surprisingly comfortable in warm or cool weather. So far I have used a wedge for support when sitting and lying on my back. The only downsides for me are the size and the musty smell. It's a little big for my petite body and the musty smell prevented me from using it for a month. I had to leave the pillow in a room with the window wide open for about a month before the smell dissipated. I notice the smell more in humid weather. I hope the smell goes away after I wash the pillowcase. However, the pros of this pillow outweigh the cons. Its versatility, comfort, and pain relief make this a worthwhile purchase. This was a lifesaver for me and I'm so glad I found this pillow!
