No dimming / no color control!

The description of this light says it is dimmable but the remote control has no dimming function. I even tried the app in hopes of dimming capabilities. The app does not connect to the device. The color of the light changes every time you turn it on or off, and the device emits a loud beep every time you press a button on the remote control. The only good thing about this light is how light it is and how much light it actually produces. Otherwise the description is incorrect.
