Review on Danner Manufacturing, Inc. EZ Clean External 55 Gallon Filter: Supreme Water Change Siphon, Gravel Cleaner, Dual Cartridges (Fresh & Salt Water), Black 01105 by Ben Hamilton

Unfortunately it makes such a loud rumble because it filters so well. If I get an answer on how to calm this down I will update my review. UPDATE: I heard from Danner how to quiet the rattle. I haven't had time yet. However, the noise level has improved. HOB filters drive me nuts because you have to check them every day to make sure the water is flowing. Several things can stop the flow. All in all I have ordered another one of these for my largest tank which has a HOB that is constantly leaking. The water change rate on this Danner is amazing. So I raise the stars Once I use the water changer part if it works as easily as advertised and is quieter I will edit my review again. 2nd update: Ok, so you have to fiddle with parts to get the noise level to an acceptable level. If you could get replacement filters with Prime here at Revain I would give it another star. I won't pay $10. send 2 small replacement filters. I can come up with my own.
