I purposely made them big so my niece could grow up in them and have them for a while. She is 21 months old but tall and already wearing 4T. I think her shoes are somewhere between a 6-7 and mine are a size 8. At first I thought she wouldn't be able to walk in them for a few months. But she was determined. She loves them so much that she can dress and undress them herself. And a day later she was stomping around the house with it. She took them to the paddling pool and they became her pool toys. Even after full immersion, they still glow. Definitely a big win for Aunt!
