Two lightbulbs arrived 3 months ago and one has already failed. He showed burning at one end of the tube - overheating. Good pears but should last longer. Looking closely at these (and other brands of CFL bulbs) I see that sometimes the vents are completely blocked by a plastic plug, a defect that can lead to overheating. This is a manufacturing defect. Ventilation slots must be cleaned during assembly. I recommend anyone with these bulbs to check the vents for clogs. Cleaning it allows the lamp to cool down and potentially prolong its life. Update: The seller immediately exchanged the lamp for a new model free of charge.
