I was building a so called "solar generator" and needed extra protection. This 70A DC breaker was installed between my 1000W inverter and the busbar (distribution block) using 4AWG wire. It was easy to install and gives me a piece of mind. This also serves a second purpose. When I'm not using the inverter, I turn it off and then turn off the breaker to make sure the inverter doesn't get any power at all. That extra protection is worth the extra effort, and the Breaker represents excellent value for money. It is of good quality, works well and works even when overloaded. I tested it 3 times and it just works. It will take about a minute to reset once it cools down. I can recommend this switch without reservation and give it 5 stars.
