Release after release. Stay away from this train wreck.

Get started. I really liked this computer until one day the left screen connection loop just completely disconnected. It still worked, I just couldn't close the laptop and therefore couldn't transport it. I wondered what I had to do to cause this. Turns out this is a very common problem that occurs at the factory and when I called support to have the laptop fixed they knew what it was and fixed it right away because it was under warranty was. but nothing has changed in the assembly. You can see where this is going. I am returning the laptop and after a few months (by which time the warranty had already expired) the top half of the screen turned green and I could no longer see the red colors in that half. This was another common problem and they figured it out as soon as I described it. I called support and they couldn't fix it. They tried to "escalate my case". but not allowed. I lived with that by plugging my laptop into a monitor when I needed it for design work. Mind you, this is a broken screen that YOU recently fixed. I've done almost nothing with this laptop. Never drop and stored in a protective case. Now the circle closes; The left loop fell apart again. I called support and they didn't help me because they didn't consider it a "factory problem" even though it was clearly a problem judging by the fact that it happened twice after it was factory. They won't fix it and I'll have to buy a new laptop, although this one actually works pretty well. The laptop itself runs fine despite the poor battery life, but faulty hardware completely ruined my experience with this product. I rely on this laptop for my professional work and it has totally let me down. If you care about quality products and quality business, never buy a Lenovo product. This is clearly a classless company and they should be ashamed for allowing such a defective product to fall twice into the hands of a poor college student while smugly denying any responsibility for their own problems. I'm a designer, and the designers at Lenovo clearly didn't do their job well and should be fired. The support members were nice enough, they just had obviously horrible orders from their top management which clearly have nothing to do with the quality of their product as long as idiots like us keep buying them to avoid the high prices of Apple computers . Unbelievable.
