This is a work of art that makes great coffee in an incredibly complicated way. Interesting to look at, but a little less if you really wanted to have a coffee right away. I don't regret the purchase and would do it again. However, here are a few things to note. The instructions state that the spirit lamp should only be filled halfway at first. Which I did but decided to add more fuel when it ran out. The instructions MUST say fill it up by half each time you use it. The lamp broke after several uses. The "Coffee and Toy" seller was great in sending a replacement and of course I kept a close eye on what was going on with the new one. As long as a new half-filled lamp is fine for each use. I was looking for some sort of electrical replacement for the lamp, as well as a mesh or disposable paper filter to replace the cloth filters. Since cloth filters are relatively expensive, I tried to reuse them, but you can try them after reusing them twice, so no. 2 stars for cleaning; Since the coffee goes back into the copper pot, I bought an extra toothbrush to scrub through the tiny filling hole.
