This is a good basket. It comes folded and can be steamed if desired, I just turned it inside out and stuffed it, voila, the soft creases are gone. They stand on their own, but if you put something on their side they collapse. See photo of my 4 lb pup from the side. The cotton rope it is wrapped around is thick and the seams are trimmed so the threads don't stick out. I like these baskets, they are versatile and don't make any noise when moving. When it gets dirty, I wash others like this in my machine on cold, gentle, or hand wash, no spin, then reshape while it air dries. This will help you when you need it.
