these devices work fine, but here's what you need to know about cost, power, and downsides

Trying to get rid of the gas heater in the house to protect the family - I bought this - just a problem with that. For a LARGE house with 3 full bathrooms, if you were using the farthest tub from the apartment (downstairs garage) you couldn't set it to the highest setting to drain water out of the tub - you had to set it to medium water flow . making it very hot - he couldn't keep up - the shower wasn't a problem with that - hot - cut my bills too - no more gas bills at all plus an increase in electricity bill because of this unit was about 1/2 what it said on gas because it only ever comes into play when water is flowing. It could be used in multiple bathrooms and kitchens at the same time, FYI. So this was all my concern because I thought I totally screwed up buying one of these devices, but it works! Final note:: It cost me $800 to have an electrician connect 4 of the 40 amp plugs required to run this unit, which ended up costing more than double the price of this unit - it works NOT without 40 amps and it is It is very unlikely that you have 4 extra 40 amp sockets on your mains supply at home and if you do they are guaranteed to be used by something else! they didn't mention that! Even if it says so on the box, it's mmm wow. ugly cost - also the cost of buying the 40 amp switches was $60 or $100 I forgot. So the total cost for the electrician plus breaker is over $1,000! shish. but I'm saving about $50 a month switching to it so it's still paying off after 2 years but anyway - oops - I'll give you another tip - I've reviewed 100 of these devices - oh my god so much work - let me tell you if I spent that much time looking instead of the person who installed 100 of these before (entire company of plumbers/electricians) I would probably save crazy money because I don't think that I would spend it anywhere from $1000 to $1200 to install - I think they would do it all for about $700 (installing the plumbing for this unit PLUS the power upgrade PLUS the cost of 4 switches etc.). Ouch. I didn't find out about it until RIGHT AFTER the electrics were done - my friend called me the next day or the day after I got everything electric upgraded to tell me they found about 3 others doing it alongside work all the time do all sorts of other builds - however they said all of these units are pretty GOOD unless you go cheap like $187 - note I have the second most powerful version in existence 27s 4 40 amp hookups and such further. They said they just had no problem with these devices but they do require maintenance such as cleaning. B. descaling the limescale every few years - I never need to do that though because I have a water quality improver that bans foam for life - hehe.
