I need to use OEM for long time. This one didn't work.
Too stiff. The long one won't drive the latch properly. Short work but heavy installation due to the rigidity. To run a long cable, it needs to go straight up and then make a 180 degree turn. The cable is so rigid that it is very difficult to manufacture. The latch did not work after installation. There was just no traction. The OEM cable is very flexible. I will have to contact an OEM to fix this.
