Review on Hamilton Beach 37518 Uncooked Resulting by Christopher Shah

I bought this to replace another rice cooker that broke down after many years. I chose this one because of the great reviews, but I think the design is TERRIBLE. The lid is attached to the heater block, which means that even if you can remove part of the lid and clean part of it, the "seal" attached to the block cannot be cleaned. And there's no proper lid to put the leftover rice in when you want to put the cooking bowl in the fridge (so you don't have to do more dishes). It's very difficult to lift the cooking bowl unless it's completely cool because the edge is so small you can only grab it with your fingertips (they burn). The instructions weren't very clear either, especially if you wanted to make smaller batches of rice. I'm sure there are much better designs out there.
