I have used this product many times. Cook rice well. After the rice was done, I wiped the inside of the rice cooker with a paper towel or sponge to remove any remaining residue. Disappointing, sent back. We've had Zojirushi for years and had to replace a scratched inner pot. Bought both Cuisinart and Hamilton Beach (cheaper). Boiled rice in both for comparison. Cuisinart cooked a cup of rice in about 15 minutes. Hamilton Beach in about 30 minutes.
