Disappointing, sent back. We've had Zojirushi for years and had to replace a scratched inner pot. Replacing the sump cost more than this entire Hamilton Beach unit, and since we had to replace it every few years, I thought it was worth a try. The rice he cooked was ok, if a little softer than we wanted, but overall the performance isn't very good. Leaking after several hours of heating is a serious electrical hazard. Unlike the Zojirushi, the unit shuts off rather than constantly heating up - a useful feature if you're cooking rice and want it to stay on for different meals throughout the day. He also burned a quinoa after being warm for just an hour.
