ALMOST THREE MONTHS UPDATE: Today this rice cooker died and has stopped working. What a waste of money. I had one for $20 that lasted over a year and never had such problems. POS and will probably never buy a Hamilton Beach product again. UPDATE: Still the worst rice cooker I've ever used. I had better luck with the $12. You can barely cook two cups of rice without the top coming off; Just in case you think this thing has redeeming qualities, rest assured it doesn't. Completely ruins the rice. If you don't eat your rice right away, this rice cooker is complete garbage. A few hours tepid and your rice will set and a hard film will form on the bottom of the rice.
