For the money it does the job for me. I bought this to cover my e-bike for extra protection from summer rain. I use it on my covered patio. The lid has three latches on the bottom to keep the lid from falling off. This is not a year round exterior coating in my opinion. It's light and pretty thin. If you're looking for year-round, all-weather coverage, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. I think that it will become brittle in the cold and the wind will tear it easily. But for summer use it is enough. It covers my 20" e-bike with fat Ecotric tires very well and helps keep out the rain. I would only recommend it for the summer.
