I'm still not a great or even good watercolor painter. My assessment is based on the experience of using many different brushes from different manufacturers to master this task. These brushes are among the best I've ever used. They hold their shape, spread medium quickly, and hold a lot of color. Essentially, they make a difficult task easier and provide more control. To put it bluntly, when you compare this brush to my gray collection, these brushes come closest to being the best in their class.
