Works great on my cast iron skillet and unlike regular oil it doesn't matter if you get a little heavier. All oils are food safe and leave no unpleasant taste. A number of reviewers noted that getting out of the tube is very painful. It is an oil blend containing a number of oils that solidify when it gets a little cold. If it gets hard, run it under hot water for about a minute. Soften instantly!
