Review on Bilstein 24 026239 Performance Shock Absorber by Ashwin Drollinger

When it comes to dampers, you get what you pay for. Installed in a 1999 VW Golf TDI. These shock absorbers have more damping capacity than cheaper twin-tube models. I bought them to replace the cheap $20 at the auto parts store. Cheap ones didn't even last 2 weeks because the seals flew out. They've been installed for a while and I can say they're worth a few bucks more. Great for everyday use and even better for towing. Couldn't be happier. Monotube rear shock absorbers and twin front shock absorbers seem to be the best choice for reliable handling and superior comfort.
