Review on SCITOO 2004 2009 Catalytic Converter Protection Replacement Parts by Antonio Baker

*I live in New York and think I need it, although theft of the catalytic converter is covered by comprehensive insurance.*Took about an hour in total to do the job. After watching a few youtube videos of a similar setup I felt ready to make this DIY setup lol I couldn't find one for this particular model. on sockets. With a gap of about 1 foot underneath, I had good working space. I had to remove a small plastic plate near the front end of the catalytic converter that was held in place by three 10mm bolts (pictured), 2 of 3 broke off due to rust. So if rust is present use WD40 to prevent it. Then I held the cat gate with a jack. I marked with a silver marker where the pre-cut holes are on the sides of the guard on the car's metal frame. I drilled 12 holes with the included 5/16" screw. I used a rivet gun to secure the 6 rivets and used a flathead screwdriver to drive in the 6 screws next to the rivets. *You will need a rivet gun (pictured) to secure the rivets, I was lucky enough to borrow one*
