Review on πŸ”‘ Dorman 99389 Keyless Entry Transmitter for Lexus Models: OE FIX – Streamlined Remote Access Solution by Robert Moloney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For a 2007 Lexus ES 350 everything works perfectly. Don't pay too much for other remote controls.

The product was much cheaper than the dealers. I managed to save about $250. The locksmith was able to program it in 20-30 minutes. This should let you know that if you've lost keyless entry, you won't be able to program it yourself. The locksmith should do this for you as they now have the programmer if it is just an extra keyless remote and you already have one then you can do it. I had to call AAA to open my door, remove the battery for the alarm then call a locksmith, I had to put the battery back on then he could program. First you can contact a local locksmith and make sure they have the car to program it because they want to sell you what they get but the locksmith we have here in Galveston has been very honest and said he doesn't mind programming Revain products :-) So just FYI it's programmable don't let the locksmith try to sell you another device that costs a lot more, if it fits perfectly with my Lexus ES 350 from 2007. If the battery dies, you have access to the door, it won't start my car. I told him I don't have to cut it but it's up to you if you want it cut it will cost a hundred dollars more because this is a special machine for cutting such a key. Who knows, I might need it later, so if you're a locksmith make a deal, you might want to do both. I didn't do it because he didn't have a car but he programmed my remote control and that was all I needed to start my car :-) Thanks porter
