This screen is almost identical to the original. If you've never installed an LCD display in a laptop, just take your time. Usually you have to remove the entire top of the laptop, including the keyboard. The hardest part is removing the frame around the screen. On the DV7-4165DX there are only 2 screws holding the front panel near the hinges so you have to pull back a small plastic tab to gain access. The rest of the bezel is held in place by glue and clips. Removing the bezel is much easier with a case opener. Find an iPod or iPhone case opener, usually a blue or green plastic tool.
