Returned made Tablet Freak out

Not exactly sure what's wrong but twice in the morning the screen was next to responsive. At first I thought the tablet was broken, but when I finally tried to remove the case everything worked. I put some tape around the edges to prevent the case from touching the screen and it happened again. The front hard edge is also too thick, making it difficult to use. The stand is also quite cheap.
