Stylish winter gloves perfect for smartphone use

Overall rating 3.5/5This product is perfect for people who need warm gloves but want to use their smartphone easily. I've used other touchscreen fingertip gloves but they never worked very well. These gloves are a great solution for texting on the go in cold weather. I rated this product on four criteria: Warmth Style Functionality Quality Warmth 4.5/5 This is perhaps the most important factor and probably the main reason I was interested in these gloves. These gloves are made from wool, which means they are predictably very warm. Convertible tops don't have as much of an impact on warmth as one might expect; I have never had a cold problem wearing these gloves. Style 5/5 These gloves have an interesting look. Each finger is essentially a different color. At first I thought it would be weird, but I was pleasantly surprised at how they look. These gloves have a worn and recycled look due to the coloring of the fingers. I personally like the look. However, the style is not to everyone's taste. The images above represent the actual appearance very closely, so you can decide for yourself. Functionality 4/5 The open thumb design is great for the obsessive smartphone user. Flexibility isn't severely restricted, and you can tuck your thumb into the flip cover if you get cold. The flip top allows you to use both fingerless gloves and mittens. The top is slightly thicker than the rest of the glove, so your fingers are warmer than your hands. Quality 2.5/5 quality is probably the biggest downside of these gloves. The stitches aren't bad considering they cost around $15. But after just two weeks, the buttons that held up the flap began to loosen. Three weeks later, the buttons fell off completely. Not being able to close the top is sad, but not as bad as you might think. I rarely used the buttons because I often unzipped the top to use my phone. That being said, it's quite frustrating that these gloves fall apart less than a month after you own them. Conclusion Overall, I find this product very useful. I needed gloves that would allow me to use my phone and keep me warm. These gloves do both jobs effectively. The only thing that really bothers me is the quality of the tailoring. For the price it's not too bad but the gloves would be perfect if they held together better.
