I bought this keyboard because I didn't want to shell out $300 to Apple. This keyboard works as advertised. Pros: Keyboard works great. The trackpad works smoothly and without any problems. The keyboard feels responsive and solid. I can't say enough now, I was surprised at how easy this case was. I expected a lot more weight from the battery and keyboard. It weighed just a little more than my leather flip case. Cons: I bought it for both the keyboard and to use as a stand in video conferencing. Unfortunately, this case wobbles too much for a video chat. The entire weight of your iPad rests on the pivot, so any movement of the desk tapping or even a squeeze makes the iPad bounce like a bobbing head. It just doesn't lend itself to a professional video chat session. All in all, this case is pretty good. If you're okay with it bouncing as you type, this is a good, cheaper alternative to the Apple keyboard. Unfortunately it didn't work for me.
