My 2008 Infiniti QX56's climate control fan was stuck on full blast, even when I push "OFF". Videos on Youtube showed me how to replace it, so I bought the fan resistor here and installed it myself. I had problem finding a socket size 6.5mm (or maybe 7.5mm) because all the sets I have or could borrow were in full integers: 5, 6, 7. no 0.5mm in between. I eventually got the defective one off and the new one in with an adjustable wrench, not the most easy thing to do, but I did it. Anyway, the new resistor worked, but the fan speed is noticeably lower than before. Before, at the lowest setting, I could feel the air coming out the vents. Now, at the lowest setting, I could barely feel any air. However, with the price I paid, I am not complaining.
