In short: I highly recommend these headphones/mics if you need binaural audio recording capabilities (and you use iOS devices). All you need is a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. Clarification: I like these headphones mainly for the binaural audio they can record. The only problem is that they are not very well made (more on that below). The following will probably tell you everything you need to know about how I feel about these AMBEO headphones/mics: I just bought two more because: 1. My first pair stopped working2. I'm afraid they will be hired3. Even with poor build quality, I'm still willing to spend money on these things because of the binaural sound recording feature. Additional notes on build quality: - These things will stop working after 3 years - DO NOT attempt to disinfect them. alcohol or hand sanitizer. The thin rubber lining will tear.) - No matter what you do, the module attached to the headphones will most likely peel off a bit after the first few months of moderate use. This does not affect the functionality of the device. A peeling rubber coating will only make the device look worn/ugly. For what it's worth, binaural recording works on USB-C devices as long as you have a USB-C to Lightning adapter.
