Review on ๐Ÿพ Compact and Convenient: Ware Deluxe Pop-Up Playpen for Pets by Dawn Wright

. Playpen for my VERY small pup but wasn't very happy when all was said and done

I had high hopes that my VERY little pup would live in this arena but wasn't very happy when all was said and done. We bought the playpen when he was 10 weeks old and only weighed about 2 pounds. For 2 weeks he figured out how to get out of the arena and crawled under the bottom layer. The arena's solid floor isn't tight on the sides; It's just velcro, and the top of the arena (despite the fact that it's mesh) is zipped to the walls. We bought extra Velcro to keep the bottom flat, but it didn't really stick to the slick fabric. We ended up buying cinder blocks and weighting all sides so our little pup couldn't escape. Within 4 months of having the playpen, he learned how to open a zip door to escape. For 6 months he chewed a hole in the mesh walls. All in all, this was a very temporary fix and not intended for smart dogs! (After the playpen we bought a very large metal dog crate. It has worked for months without incident). It folds easily, is a little thin at the bottom and should only be used under supervision.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
