I was sure that the wand that came with the vacuum cleaner was ergonomically optimal. Malarki. Anyone who has used an "ergonomic" keyboard or chair knows that designers were teased at school and are now settling accounts with the rest of the world. I'm 6ft 2" and my new C3's tube was too short at max extension. Bought a second one to double the range. Now I am happy. However as this is a WELL MADE Miele unit it is steel and weighs the same as the wand that comes with it! It is electric and fits the original wand perfectly and allows the attachment to work well. Saw (and heard) no loss sucks, it fits well which is nice. Use your car first, and if you need more length buy one, it's worth it.
