I bought this set for my 2 year old grandson because he loves dinosaurs. With him it was a huge win. He loved it. He really didn't play with the backpack too much. But he loved eggs. The eggs were very tightly packed when I received them. I could barely open them and tried to squeeze my fingernail into the gap and push them apart. But once I opened them all I was able to close them easily and the 2 year old was able to take them apart by himself. We're learning colors, so this set is fun to play with. But his favorite part is the baby dinosaur footprint in each egg. After taking them all apart, he puts them all back together. At the age of 2 he cannot put the pieces together by himself. But he learned very quickly and gave me the right pieces to start and then finish on my own. I would recommend if you have a child who loves dinosaurs.
