Review on Dorman 800 802 Connectr Clip by Darion Wooten

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A necessary item for what I've done.

I replaced oil cooler lines on my 1990 Chevy K2500 350 pickup and these little plastic clips are all that's needed between a tight connection and a major leak. They slip onto the ends of the tube that connects to the oil filter housing and then snap into the fittings on the housing. My old ones were so covered in dirt I couldn't get them out without breaking them, so I bought these just in case. I replaced the fittings with a Dorman 800-701 Dorman 800-701 oil cooler fitting which comes with a fitting and also has an o-ring in the fitting but after seeing how fragile these little thoughts are I figured it would be nice to have a replacement. You can easily replace your lines without buying 800-701 as 800-802 will do it. I was surprised to see there were 2 packs and I'm glad I didn't order two. It works and it gives it 5 stars and I strongly recommend that when replacing colder lines you don't try to reuse the old clamps and also add a new o-ring.
