I bought this harness to match the engraved collars I bought for my two dogs. My dogs were just on the borderline between small and medium sized. I bought a medium, but it was actually too big. I just ordered the small ones and they are just great! (So if your dog is borderline, I recommend going down a size.) The fact that the latches snap is a good thing. I found it strange at first, but after accidentally opening another pendant I can see the value. The reflective threads work really well - it's just a great product.
