I have a Dell Inspiron 3558 which charger recently died. I wanted to buy a durable charger that I can use for a long time, I saw this one that said 'Original' and it was almost 3 times more expensive than the regular ones you can find here on Amazon. I chose this one because it felt like a safe bet. It was not. I got the charger, used it 3 times (3!) and it stopped working. It doesn't show any signs of shorting (it doesn't look like it and certainly doesn't smell), it has never been dropped, it just doesn't work anymore. Can't return as I'm currently out of the US, can't request a refund as the deadline has expired. Next time I'll just follow my instinct and buy a cheap one with good reviews.
