So I know it's for coffee makers and such, but I actually bought it for a different purpose. If you put a little of this descaler on a damp sponge, it actually cleans glass shower doors, shower tiles soiled by hard water and everything in them really well. Also worked with the bathroom. Of course, don't forget to rinse it off too, because I guess it's probably not a good idea if it lingers on your swim or gets on you. Fun Fact: Unlike other cleaners specifically designed for bathroom cleaning, it doesn't really have a nauseous smell or fumes, so it's always a good thing. As for the amount to sprinkle, I'd say just enough so you can see it on your sponge but not so much that it falls off. Use this as a base, but really look at what you're cleaning and use your common sense. it doesn't get any worse, another round of cleaning won't hurt
