My waist is small compared to my hips. I need a belt that I can tighten just enough to keep my pants from riding down but still not crush my stomach when I'm sitting. They are stretchy but keep their shape. The buckle tab goes right through the strap without worrying about the pre-assigned hole rings ripping out or not being positioned for your fit.
