I don't know why so many others are complaining. A lot of people complain that they fall apart. I don't see them falling apart unless they lengthen it by roughly pulling on the telescoping pieces, or it gets stuck and they pull too hard to unhook it from the jersey straps or whatever. In fact, you don't have to worry if you don't use the product for its intended purpose. I believe these products are of good quality. They are durable, offer great freedom of movement, are easy to use and do what they were designed to do. The product description says they are great for humans and dogs love them too and I should add cats do too! My cat is obsessed with scratching her chin, cheeks and ears with a claw.
