The most attractive option for tea lovers

I am a tea lover: Green, Oolong, Black. Therefore, it is important to have a kettle that heats water to different temperatures when drinking different types of tea. I've used Breville kettles in the past as they were the first (that I knew of) to heat water to different temperatures. The first lasted quite a while, but the second, an improved design over the first, didn't last as long. They're expensive and don't look good sitting on my counter all day. KRUPS is a huge improvement in design and value. So far it's working fine. It's not as easy to fill as the Brevilles, which had indicators on the outside of the pot (and a BPA-free plastic liner) to help fill the pot with just the right amount of water. KRUPS only has an internal minimum and maximum range. You have to look inside and if you want an exact amount (e.g. 3 cups) you have to take a measuring cup and pour water into it and then pour it into the pot. By the way, the instructions are wrong. They tell you to press and hold the button until the desired temperature is reached. It's more like a press release, press release, etc. until you get to your desired temperature. Thereafter, a beep will sound and the display will light up to confirm the selected temperature. To activate the keep warm function, press and hold the button until you hear another beep and the keep warm symbol appears. Now I'm wondering how long this mode will last. KRUPS is a good brand so fingers crossed.
