Review on WEN 10481 81Piece Steel Gauge by Darrell Beecher

I've trusted WEN for quality products at a reasonable price and this gauge block set is no exception. I have just received them and am very impressed with their quality. The case is well made and keeps each block separate. It comes with a test certificate detailing the actual measured values of each device, accurate to the microinch. The maximum distance from face value is 0.000027 inches, which is close enough for anything I've ever done! Most of them are much closer to parity. I've tried compressing them together and had no problems other than large blocks. You're still doing push-ups, but it takes some effort. Allow about an hour to unpack each block and clean the oil blocks. It's a small price for what you get. Now I can accurately calibrate the DRO on my grinder. This is great value for money and I heartily recommend this set for the home shop or small workshop.
