Review on Pelican 1170 Case With Foam (Desert Tan) by Marty Drury

Good case. I wish it was a little longer but I made it work for me. The case is stable and I was able to set it up without any problems. Although there is no lock, there are 2 holes for overhead locks. In large cases, these holes are reinforced with metal. That's probably fine, but a metal reinforcement would be nice if you want to attach the case to something with a cable. I have two other large pelicans and overall I am very happy with the brand. They're a little pricey, but I've seen videos on YouTube of someone driving a pickup truck over a Pelican and a similar model from another expensive brand. The other model broke, but the pelican's body did not.
