Material seems thinner/lighter than original valve assembly. The screw cap is tight, making it difficult to unscrew and fully tighten. Very tight in the spout, even after using vegetables. oil according to instructions. When fully assembled, the assembly does not "rotate" vertically on the container (see photo). This would require unscrewing the valve from the hood to a vertical position to use properly. I solved the "timing" problem by adding a 1"OD x 3/4"ID o-ring to the socket threads. This provides a higher seat and a bit of "flattening" to properly align the hub for use. Compared to the original caps and valves they are terrible and if I had another option I would return them. However, since I've fixed the sync issue and have no other choice, I'll leave that. Just a shame I had to "fix" a brand new $13 part.
