Overall the construction is good, they seem pretty solid and will hold a decent amount of whatever you plan to use them for. I have two problems with them: 1) I don't want to use them on plants unless they need water (or a very small amount). I would be afraid of leaks even if I put an insert in. When they leak, they discolour, which brings me to the next. 2) They must be offered in colors other than white. They're not easy to keep clean, so it would be nice to offer colors that aren't as flashy and fit into more decors. I wouldn't say don't buy them, they seem to be made a little better. and with a heavier rope than many of their competitors. If the company intends to sell them as storage baskets rather than hanging plant baskets, I would suggest changing the main photo to reflect that. This also sets them apart from all other similar products, all of which feature plants.
