I bought this for my American Bulldog because she was extremely destructive - she chewed and ate plants, her bucket of water, ceramic pots, wires, bags, whatever he put in his mouth could get . No matter how many toys or entertainment we gave him, he ate almost everything he saw. Out of desperation I decided to try this collar and keep ordering replacements. The effect lasts a few months at most. I can't say for sure if this really made a difference, but between each new tranquilizer collar I noticed a decrease and return in the destructive behavior. When the random destruction returns, I'll order a new collar. It's been like this for a few months now and I'm on my third collar now or something. I guess I'll keep buying them until proven otherwise! haha
