I don't usually write reviews at all. But I thought it worth mentioning that you should be very careful when connecting a Canon 1DX MK II to this unit. I ordered a number of different small gear components and was very satisfied until I decided to pair the CAGE with my shoulder gear baseplate. The two obviously did NOT connect properly and the screw is completely BROKEN. Both the cage and the shoulder gear have just been taken out of the box. NOT GOOD. If I had adjusted the cage all the way during the shoot, it would have fallen off and fallen to the ground. I would be furious. SMALL RIG is generally not of very good quality. It feels like soft aluminum at best. I have invested hundreds and hundreds of dollars in this brand without testing my investment first. HUGE MISTAKE. So think twice before you put $5,000-$6,000 worth of equipment in this cage. I will pay extra money for Bight Tangerine and the like to protect my investment. Oh yes, good that I tested the equipment at home and not on set. I intend to return every small device I have. Invest wisely.
