Review on Moog K9733 Strut Rod Bushing by Joseph Harkins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not what you expected but not necessarily bad

They are not equivalent to an OEM replacement. soft and move in a controlled direction to absorb fore/aft shocks. These Moog replacement parts are extremely stiff and offer sharper steering. However, they cause excessive shock to be transmitted throughout the vehicle. The ride becomes noticeably stiffer, rather than just soft, sporty harshness. This is a desirable attribute for performance improvements, but NOT for original equipment replacements. The hardware that comes with this kit is also worse. The OEM metal boot is solid tube, Moog gives you rolled sheet steel, the seam isn't even welded. And you can't use your old stock because the Moog design requires a shorter collar. Washers of different thickness and diameter from the drain. Worst of all, this, along with the difference in rubber hardness, changes your caster angle. In summary, it would be great as a performance upgrade, but not as an OE replacement.
